Pay raises for Federal employees at lower grade levels (grades 0 - 8).

Created by R.W. on January 03, 2013

Lower grade federal employees earn below national average wages, and often below the average wage for the city in which they work. The cost of living (gas, housing, utilities and food) has not stayed the same, yet our salaries have been frozen and remain the same for three years.
Obama deemed Congress worthy of a pay raise despite their bickering, lack of work and real improvement/help to the American people and economy. Luckily the House did not vote on the issue.
Let's look to the American worker and help them out with a small Cost of Living increase instead of a continued pay freeze.
