Pay reduction for top federal officials before any government employee may be furloughed.

Mandatory pay and benefit reductions and elimination of all bonuses for all elected federal officials (including but limited to the president, vice president, members of both houses of Congress), presidential appointees (including but limited to members of the Cabinet) and the entire senior executive service before any federal employee may be furloughed or have their pay or benefits reduced. Furloughs and pay reductions for the work and file government employee will not end government debt, affect government leadership, end political party disputes or change the direction of the country. It will jeopardize the livelihood, disrupt the lives of, demoralize middle and lower class government workers.
