Compensation of $25,000 should be paid to each United States Military Veteran and Service Member whose Military Medical Records have been lost since the July 12th fire of 1973. This would help to pay for immediate medical care and fund investigations that would be noted in their medical records.
All branches of the United States Military and the Veterans Administration has been comfortably denying benefits to Veteran's and Retirees by "loosing" the Military Service Member's Medical Records. This places the burden of proof of service related injuries on the veteran and service member who does not have the investigative tactics and budgets at their disposal. This denies the Service Member and Veteran benefits and medical care for months and/or years during their investigation.
