I believe that with the every growing demand for retail stores to have black Friday shopping events that it has created more of a stressful and harmful environment to employees. This is the the most profitable day of the year for all retail stores and it requires extra performance from their employees. workers are to report into work at times much earlier than a normal shift and often work much longer than a normal eight hour shift. also the danger level is increased all around during black Friday. this shopping event is the only day where cops are hired to control crowds from harming them selves, other guests, as well as the employees. In closing any I believe employees should receive time in a half and have this day treated as if it was a holiday and they were reeving holiday pay.
