Stop paying Senators and Congress when they leave office. if they don't work that job 20-30 years then they shouldn't earn a benefit of retirement, working a few years doesn't constitute grounds to receive rewards. And they should pay into that fund just like the rest of the citizens of America who have to work for that retirement package. They should earn a good salary while in office, but that is it. NO LIFE TIME benefits for minimum years put in. Those large salaries are pulling us down. What other smart business company would pay a retirement to someone who only works a few years for that company and for a life time. If they can't manage a budget in their home setting, then by God don't let them run a larger budget, like the United States.
