PAY VETERANS that file VA Service Connected Disabilities while awaiting many months of back logged VA claims to process.

Created by R.C. on October 27, 2011

Veterans that file service connected disability claims with the Veterans Administation are often waiting over a year for payment of claims .
FACT: Benifits upon Discharge (BDD CLAIMS) at VA Regional Office in Winston-Salem, NC are taking over 10 months to process after the veteran has completed ALL service connected disability paperwork.
FACT: The VA pays back pay to the Veteran who has service connected disabilites verified.
I recommend Mr. President a flat compensation payment upon discharge to all honorably served veterans (Seperating or Retiring) that file a Service Connected Disability package at discharge. Once the disability is verified by the VA months later it can be subtracted from the back payment or paid back if there is not an award of compensation.
