Paychecks for people in Congress should be cut in half and they should not be able to vote for their own pay raise.

The salaries for the members of congress, needs to be cut in half at least. It is my understanding that between August and November, congress met a total of 12 times. What are we getting for our money? Why should we pay so much money for our leaders in congress for so little time spent resolving our problems. It is thought that President Obama will ask for a pay raise for members of congress in 2013. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
