The pay/healthcare of ALL elected officials should receive same reward/consequence as the average American citizen.

Politicians have placed themselves in positions where they feel they are a better class of citizen and should be exempt from ANY hardship in pay/healthcare faced by the average American. If/when the government shuts down, their pay should also STOP! They shouldn't receive ANY special/priority healthcare no afforded to the average citizen! WE elected them to represent OUR wishes, not THEIR OWN! 'WE THE PEOPLE' are tired of the games, pursuit of selfish desires, lack of interest in how 'WE THE PEOPLE' will be affected by the constant fighting in Washington. IF 'WE THE PEOPLE' were all equal and faced the same consequences, maybe a government resolution would have been achieved by the career politicians who can serve 1 TERM and receive pay from the US taxpayer for the remainder of their lives
