Paying student loans, but can't afford healthcare

Created by A.T. on January 09, 2017

I have been diligently repaying my student loans, but I have recently been removed from my parents healthcare plan this year on my 26th birthday this past August. Because of my student loans I am unable to afford the healthcare plan suggested by the healthcare.gov website. I am now preparing to pay the $695 penalty for not having healthcare for 4 months of this past year. Should I just continue to repay my student loans, go without healthcare coverage and pay the fine every year or default on my student loans?
