VA UNFAIR LABOR PRACTICE/Representation - VA OIT Back pay/overtime Settlement
This petition represent a group of VA/Veterans workers.
I am filing this petition on behalf of all VA IT employees regarding the AFGE FLSA Settlement The original FLSA Settlement was fair and just and compensated everyone, the newly revised settlement is simply discriminate to all employees, it does not treat employees equally or fairly. The updated settlement states if you are represented by the AFGE union you get your back pay however if not you get your last 2 years of overtime back pay. In our opinion the revised settlement is downright discrimination against VA employees with the same job and in the same series positions. This FLSA Settlement covers overtime paid at the incorrect rate from 1991 to 2014.
