We American citizens believe the Federal Government has failed to protect the civil liberties of it's people by passing and extending the "Patriot Act" and signing the "National Defense Authorization Act". These pieces of legislature undermine the rights of American people and flagrantly dismiss basic constitutional rights. Some of these include the 4th amendment, which guards against unreasonable searches and seizures. Also the 5th amendment, which protects due process of law.
