This petition aims to add an amendment to the Constitution to abolish all forms of organized religion. Religion is a dangerous and archaic institution which halts the progress of humanity and promotes the limitation of civil liberties and human rights. It also advocates hatred and intolerance. Religion is a festering sore on the face of our great nation. Religion hinders equality and decency and allows people to discriminate against anyone they feel is doing something against their faith. It also leads to hate crimes and violence.
Amend the Constitution. Abolish organized religion and allow the rest of us to get on with our lives.
