Peacefully acknowledge that the secessionist do not represent the majority and the majority find the idea unpatriotic.

We the people of The United States of America do hereby ask the petitioners for secession to cease their unpatriotic actions and realize that we stand stronger because of our differences and not the opposite. That their petitions are respected and our country gives them the right to post them but that we as a nation refuse to revert to Civil War era ideas and would prefer to move forward and not backward. That if they have genuine fears about their government they should engage in educating themselves and making use of a system that has cradled them in the safety of democracy for their entire lives and now weeps at their lack of respect for their country.
