Although similar petitions have been answered by Jon Carson, the People of the State of Colorado have not been heard, and there are numerous flaws in the response.
First Carson states "democracy can be noisy and controversial."
We live in a constitutional republic, not a democracy.
Second Carson states "they did not provide the right to walk away from it."
Amendment 9 USC states:
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
Declaration of Independence states:
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another...it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government...
