We respectfully request that the State of South Dakota remain a part of the United States of America for the following reasons:
1. South Dakota has been a state for about 123 years, and overall, it's been working out pretty well for everyone so far.
2. It seems like the paperwork involved in secession would be a big headache, and not really worth the trouble.
