All these petitions about wanting to secede are pretty silly considering pretty much every state has one right now. People had such pride in this nation and now a president that you dislike (including reasons that I won't mention for fear of offending people) got reelected everybody wants to just leave? In my opinion this makes us look VERY weak to the rest of the world. We were once one of the greatest nations in the world but lately we've been falling behind in numerous categories not just limited to the economy, and now people want to tear the nation apart over one election? It's ridiculous; we're becoming a laughing stock all around the globe and this isn't helping. People need to stop making such knee-jerk reactions towards everything. Remember, "united we stand, divided we fall."
