Peacefully decline the Alabamian petition for secession from the United States of America.

With the largely narrow-minded seccesion petitions being signed left and right, I have no better alternative than to write an anti-secession petition. If Alabama were to secede from the United States of America, we would see massive economic calamity and collapse, decimation of education, loss of security for the state and a withdrawl of various organizations of the United States of America. This is not only for my self interest, but the interest of my family, my community and my state. The last thing we need in this state is an even weaker economy and state. I implore you, we need to remain part of the United States, lest we fall victim to another infamous moment in history. Lets bring Alabama prosperity, not infamy.
