peacefully dissolve the Union

Due to the updraft in secessionist attitudes, as is evidenced by recent petitions for secession here, I propose the Federal Government of the United Sates of America allow each of the states to govern themselves individually as they see fit. Since the people of each state in this Union have a responsibility to ensure for themselves and their offspring the liberty to which they are entitled by God as outlined in the Declaration of Independence, the Federal government, which has irresponsibly taxed and spent our money, consumed ever greater parts of our economy, shredded our great Constitution, and become increasingly tied to Marxist economics that repeatedly ignore the laws of economics as they exists in reality, is at this point a mere constraint to freedom, and as such must be overthrown.
