The citizens of Illinois continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the state government's gerrymandering, neglect to reform and stop corruption. The citizens of the state suffer from unfair and unrepresented taxation by a goverment ridden with corruption. Given that the state of Illinois cannot maintain a balanced budget, it is clearly not feasible for Illinois to continue as is, and to do so would destory it's citizens' standard of living and their rights and liberties in accordance with the works of our founding fathers which held that there should be no taxation without proper and equal representation. To this end the citizens of Illinois should be allowed to decide by county weather they should split from the state, forming a new state or joining an neighboring state.
