We the citizens of Dallas would like to petition to remain part of the Union in an event that the State of Texas secedes. It should be known that we do not agree with many of our fellow Texans' decision to petition our own government by requesting secession as we find it un-American. Furthermore, we fear the probability of injustices that would be imposed women, children, minorities and the LGBT community by a very uneducated rural Texas population. We ask the United States Government to please save us from these rebels.
