Interstate 285 (I-285) is a highway loop encircling Atlanta, Georgia, for 63.98 miles (102.97 km). Georgians can be classified as either living ITP (Inside the Perimeter) or OTP (Outside the Perimeter).
Anyone who lives OTP is often subject to various forms of criticism and neglect. Residents who live ITP do not typically want to be associated with those who live OTP, nor do they want to travel to such great distances. Prices on housing, livestock, and another other consumables are lower outside the perimeter to entice people to live there, but the shame is often too much to bare.
We would like the city of Marietta, GA to be included as part of "ITP" regardless of the actual boundaries. We would like the same craft beers, fancy burgers, tiny homes, and bike lanes as those ITP.
