The City of New Orleans continues to suffer deprivations of socioeconomic, civil, religious, and political freedoms imposed upon it by less liberally minded Louisianans.
New Orleans has very little in common with the rest of Louisiana (as it is one of the most culturally diverse places in America) & is very proud to be part of the U.S.A. It wants absolutely no part of a state that publicly desires secession from our great nation. In the event that Louisiana is successful in the current bid to secede, it is extremely important for New Orleans to remain in the Union as to do so would protect its citizens' standard of living and re-secure their rights of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
We would also like to annex the remaining cities & municipalities of Orleans Parish.
