Franklin Co.consistently votes for progress while the majority of the state votes to remain dependent and backward. Franklin Co.has a higher average wage, education achievement and rate of home ownership and lower unemployment and better attitude than at least 115 of Kentucky's 120 counties. We are ashamed of the majority of KY counties that choose to remain uneducated, unsophisticated, uninformed, dependent on the blue states and wandering in the darkness of racism, anti-science beliefs and twisted religious interpretations that don't accurately represent any established world faith, much less Christianity. We want to continue to grow, develop and succeed and believe we cannot do this as a Kentucky county as quickly and extensively as we could absent the association with KY.
