Peacefully grant the happiness of several million Americans, and federally fund another season (or seven) of Firefly.

The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government's neglect to produce any excellent science fiction television for the current season. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their taste, such as Supernatural and all manner of stupid soft core pornography starring vampires. Given that the United States likely watches more TV than any other developed nation, it is practically feasible for Joss Whedon's hit Firefly to reach a marketable and profitable audience, and to do so would improve our citizens' standard of living and re-secure their rights to be shiny and avoid the Reavers in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are not currently reflected by the federal government with reruns of Jersey Shore.
