Peacefully grant the State of California to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government

It is our job as the citizens of this great nation to act when we feel that our government has become abusive of its powers and threatens the very people that it should be protecting. The Declaration of Independence reminds us of that right stating, "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it." It is time that concerned citizens reflect on the rising national deficit, unemployment, and the freedoms we are losing. Do you think our governemnt has the interests of the people in mind?
