Peacefully grant the State of Maine to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own government.

Whenever it may appear that the present government has departed from the provisions and requirements of the Constitution of The United States of American, and no longer supports said constittution, it is the right and duty of the citizens thereof to withdraw from that government and to form another in accordance to the original beliefs and intents and requirements of the founding fathers of said Republic - one nation, under GOD.
