With the heightened police state in America, with the signing of the NDAA, SOPA, and the Patriot Act, our civil liberties our quickly disappearing and the Constitution is being ignored. Our economy is on the verge of collapse with the devastating debt and the inane actions of the Federal Reserve. In order to protect the citizens of Maryland, this petition has been drafted to allow Maryland to peacefully secede from the United States and form an independent government.
"When the government becomes abusive, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it" -Declaration of Independence.
I plead to all people, in and outside Maryland, to sign this petition and support the rights of the people of Maryland.
