Peacefully grant the State of New Jersey sovereignty from the United States of America, so we can live on the moon.

Seeing as everyone else wants to secede, the people of New Jersey should be allowed to also. But we don't want to get in the way of anything, so we simply ask that you disconnect us from the continent of North America and use some of your funding to relocate our great state to the moon. Because YOLO, so it's probably a good idea, just like all these other secession petitions, which are totally legit.
