Peacefully grant the State of New Mexico to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own New Government

As citizens of the State of New Mexico, we the undersigned wish to secede from the United States of America. We feel our freedoms are slowly being revoked; the constitution has not been upheld by the government of the United States; our leaders have betrayed the people; and have saddled us citizens and our posterity with burdensome debt. The government of the United States has left us vulnerable through fiscal irresponsibility and desires to decrease our military in that we would not be able to adequately defend ourselves, furthermore they wish to disarm the American people so that we can no longer defend ourselves. For these basic reasons and many more that there is not room to write; we want to secede.
