As the founding fathers of the united States of America made clear in the Declaration of Independence in 1776:
"...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government..."
I believe that the citizens of this great state should follow their example, for their ideas are the foundation for the beliefs that we hold dear. The principles that our forefathers set up are the exemplary model which our nation must follow in order to truly be free, and that which many brave men and women have fought to protect.
I urge you not to sign this petition out of anger, but for the embodiment of freedom.
