Peacefully grant the State of South Carolina to withdraw from the United States of America.

We hereby request the President of the United States grant to the State of South Carolina to leave the United States of America. The citizens of the State of South Carolina have determined that our interests are no longer being furthered by our association with the United States of America, and we wish to pursue our own interest separate from the other states and the union.
