It is in the best interest of the citizens of Virginia to embrace sovereignty of its own state affairs. The Federal Government has proven incompetency in its ability to govern the economy, healthcare, welfare, medicare and social security. The Federal Government has increasingly modified the very Constitution that has ruled this nation for hundreds of years. Therefore, Virginia asks to peacefully secede from the United States of America to establish a new goverment that will uphold constitutional rights and insure the best interest of the citizens.
