We the People of the great state of Washington, acting upon our own moral, personal & political convictions do hereby assert our desire to secede from the Union. It has become increasingly apparent through a multitude of administrations that the current federal government is no longer willing or able to represent the will of the people. We therefore as free men and women of this great state do believe that we would be better served by forming a government of our own making. We shall reserve the right to enact our own laws, levy taxes & tariffs upon a vote of the people without interference from the federal government.
