A desire to allow peaceful secession is not unpatriotic. It is a preamble to civilized reform utilizing extreme means. However, the first duty of civilized people is to seek reform through more moderate means.
Therefore:
We the People of the United States demand a more perfect Union.
The United States is largely broken and corrupted economically. To address the economic imbalance of a population addicted to government spending we demand the reform of the Senate. Election of Senators must be tied solely to taxes paid within the previous term in a manner that preserves a right to no taxation without representation.
The prosperity of the United States has led to a sense of entitlement that is contrary to freedom and liberty. We petition the President to rise above politics and lead.
