The Government of the Territory of Washington created an oppressive form of government on the Citizens of the Territory of Washington in order to try and get statehood by Congress in 1878 and 1898. Our current Constitution of Washington is lacking a truly Republican Form of Government created by the Citizens of the State of Washington and separate Bill of Rights that spells out the rights of the People against the State of Washington.
