Peacefully handle the Russian Aggression in the Ukraine, as per the Budapest Memorandum of 1994.

Created by A.G. on March 02, 2014

On 21 February, 2014, the fascist government of ex-Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych was peacefully overthrown with support from the US and EU, as per the Regulations set forth in the Budapest Memorandum of 1994.

This is not so with the recent Russian land invasion of Ukraine.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin has no right to encroach on the basic human rights of democracy that were peacefully given back to the Ukrainian and Crimean people after a long and difficult dictatorship.

However our nation has no way to fight back without danger to American lives.

As such, we the people of the United States of America petition the government to peacefully impose severe trade sanctions on the Russian Federation in whatever way it sees fit, pending the removal of Russian forces in Crimea.
