Why should millions of people suffer because of the narrowed minds of only a few. These petitions state that they are helping the people when in fact they are hurting. People will lose jobs, housing, assistance, and much more. People do not take into consideration how much the federal government helps out the states. Being an independent entity will cause more poverty and problems for the people.
