Who wants to watch Kansas State and Oregon?
Notre Dame did better than Kansas State against common opponents and they've played a cupcake schedule.
And the Irish have Manti Te'o, who -- while you're at it -- deserves the peaceful granting of an Executive Order decreeing him to be the Heisman Trophy winner.
Even people who hate Notre Dame want to see the Irish in the title game just so they can root against them, so this is a win-win. And it's a quid pro quo for all the grief Notre Dame took after inviting you to be its commencement speaker.
There's really no other way, Mr. President. Please peacefully put the poll voters in line if they can't get it right on their own accord. If not, Notre Dame will have to reserve the right to peacefully secede from the FBS.
