The US continues to suffer with the existence of Texas. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of voting rights, civil rights, and an assault on the principal of pursuit of happiness. etc. Given that the state of Texas is a recipient of a large amount of federal aid, and since it falters in education, health care, and other social services that the Lone Star state fails to supply it's citizens, the more well functioning government of Puerto Rico should be allowed to take it's place in the Union since it so vehemently want's to leave and Puerto Rico so happily want's to join. Also this would make it easier so we don't have to all buy new flags if we were to go to 51 states.
