Companies that outsource/offshore jobs to lower wage countries such as India and China in order to increase profits do so to the detriment of our own people and our own economy.
This growing practice needs to be penalized in order to level the playing field, as it undermines the opportunities and pay for US workers who cannot compete with the low wages in poorer countries.
Offshoring boosts the economies of other countries at the expense of our own, as underemployed workers purchase less and pay fewer taxes, crippling our own economic growth. Let's fix this by deincentivizing this unpatriotic practice.
