Hospice companies are not responsible for their actions when it comes to care for the patients. There is mounting criminal naglect to our senior citizens and no one is holding them accountable, crimanally, for actions they take or do not take. I propose that action be taken to create a punishable act that allows the government to withhold financial support and impliment criminal charges when a committee finds that these companies are not acting in the patients best care causing more medical cost and illness.There should be a standard Nurse -Patient ratio. They should have to submit auditable monthly records for these. There should be a set response time or they loose all federal and legal action. They should be required to submit logs from the families describing care and a rating system.
