Penalize parents for unruly children in schools

School discipline and classroom management issues have been on an increasing rise and has gotten out of control. The level of respect for education and those that administer education has plummeted. Administrators, teachers, and other staff are issued harsh consequences when they are attempting to protect themselves, other students, or maintain a pre-established classroom order, whereas, unruly, disrespectful, and violent students are issued disciplinary actions that act more like a band-aid to cover a deeper issue of poor parenting that is not in place. We petition that parents should be penalized in some form for such children that they send to our schools. These penalties can be financial and/or incarceration for both parent(s) and child, depending on the severity of the misbehavior.
