Penalize the social medias and companies that market individual, private information. Require a fraction of that money to be awarded to the person(s) who's data was sold & obtained by marketing the information.
There is too many sites & companies out there that sale my information and your information, without acknowledging us first or awarding us. We do not know who gets this statistic information and no one ever asks if we wanted to be surveyed.
I think Obama Administration should force these companies that sale private information for profit to award the person(s) who they took the information from.
Data harvesting like facebook and Xbox LIVE does, is a violation of personal privacy--Both companies are not even Government enforcers and only harvest private data for money.
