This is a petition to have the congress and senate pensions cut while they are of working age. As they have decided to cut the pensions of the military due to the fact that they are of working age after 20 years of service defending our country.
Congress gets full pensions after 5 years at the age of 62.
They also get full pensions after 20 years at the age of 50.
They also get full pensions after 25 at any age.
I propose that we make all pension only eligible after 20 years of service. Also I would like to push all pensions to the age of 62 since they are of working age.
I feel that if the government is willing to cut the benefits of military veterans after over a decade of fighting. This would not be to much to ask of them.
