The reigns of our Government have been removed from the citizens hands and have been placed in the hands of those only concerned with themselves or returning the favors of those who got them into office. Money needs to be taken out of the equation of elections so that the interests of the citizens who elect them are placed first and not those who paid the most. Limit election coffers to donations by tax return deduction. The deductions will be split evenly between Candidates so that no one has an unfair advantage. Media, print and television advertising has to be paid out of those coffers only and has to be factual. Registered voters will receive either a print or online version of candidates resumes. Debates are mandatory. Take money out of politics and what you have left is the people.
