As Americans cast their votes and eagerly, if not fearfully, awaited the results of the election as Donald Trump was chosen as the President Elect with 276 electoral votes over his opponent, Hillary Rodham Clinton. (Source: https://goo.gl/zCHPGr ) These votes are from delegates as part of the Electoral College, an archaic voting system designed to give a voice to the voiceless and make the best decision for over 300 million Americans.
This system does not work anymore.
Despite Trump's 276 votes, the People have spoken -- the popular vote belongs to Hillary. This petition seeks to abolish the Electoral College and to let the voices of Americans be really, truly be heard.
