We the people believe that a military person who serves 20-30 yrs. deserves a check for rest of his or her life. A Senator who serves one term should not be entitled to a pay check for rest of his life. The President should be entitled that benefit not the Senator. It is not right that a senator that only serves one term is entitled to the same benefits as people who work so hard to make ends meet and have to serve 20 years to earn their retirement.
