I think people who put walnuts, or any nuts for that matter, in a Classic American cookie like the magical chocolate chip, have no place in our society. Unfortunately, people who believe that nuts have a place in cookies are typically hard headed (much like your average climate change denier) so there's really no sense in trying to change their minds. They should just be sent to Canada with the rest of the nut lovers.
