People who work for you in the Social Security Administration are being charged money when they retire...

Created by D.D. on December 24, 2013

I left the government in 1983 for seven years. I took out my retirement which was $8216.00. I got married and had a child and stayed home. It didn't work out so I had to go back to work in 1990. I've been back for 36 years. I now would like to retire . I went to personnel to get my comps and they told me that i owed the government $47,700.00. They never told me if i came back i had to pay that money back. They could have told me that when I first came back but they didn't. They have done that to many people and i don't think that's right or fair. How can I make it, if they are taking this money out of each check i receive until i die. I'm only a grade 7 and I'm 63. Please investigate this because i feel like i'm working to pay the government to pay me. I really need my money to survive
