People's Request for Immediate Investigations by Department of Justice when Law Enforcement Shoots Citizens

Created by K.S. on September 20, 2016

It has become clear that law enforcement officers have shot and killed many citizens who were unarmed and did nothing to warrant the use of deadly force. Without oversight by investigators outside of the jurisdictions where these shootings have taken place the local police forces have managed to cover-up their bad acts, plant evidence to strengthen their excuse for using deadly force and are at this point not to be trusted when they are looking to cover-up their killings. The Department of Justice should develop a unit of investigators which can be sent in to immediately oversee the investigation of the officers who have shot and killed citizens.
